Plasticiens Volants & Os Gemeos present ‘O Estrangeiro’

November 25, 2009

We at the Fold have already expressed a fondness for the work of Brazilian street artists Os Gemeos.

Earlier this month in Sao Paulo the twins got together with Plasticiens Volants, a group of performance artists from France that specialise in making large-scale inflatable models. Os Gemeos have gotten in on the act, actualising one of their instantly-recognisable cartoon figures into a huge float attraction.

All pictures courtesy of Lost Art – see the full story here. Check it out – seriously amazing photography.

Mini Cooper x Craig ‘KR’ Costello – KRINK Mini

November 6, 2009

Rather nice video showing an artistic collaboration between the chaps at Mini Cooper and Craig ‘KR’ Costello – head honcho at KRINK, supplier of quality ink, markers and fire extinguishers. I really want this Mini. Would need to clean the windows off first though, obviously.

Krink’s Craig Costello has just helped thousands of street artists worldwide reach a heady climax with this, an 8-litre, fully functioning fire extinguisher that sprays ink. Produced in a limited run of 20, it’s pretty certain that the lucky few to get their hands on one will be putting up some pretty impressive displays in the future…
