Fashion’s Night Out

Sorry if this is a tad short notice… In an attempt to re-ignite consumer confidence and get people interested in buying things again, Vogue Magazine and its international counterparts are co-ordinating ‘fashion extravaganzas’ worldwide whereby stores remain open after 6pm; shopping, fun and revelry all in the name of saving the fashion industry and the economy. What better excuse do you need?

Celebrations are taking place in New York, London, Greece, Italy, Russia, France, Brazil, India, Spain, China, Germany, Japan and Taiwan – New York’s evening is to co-incide with the opening night of New York Fashion Week, more on that in the next few days. Meanwhile, London’s event, taking place at Ralph Lauren’s flagship store in Bond Street, features UK Vogue’s fashion director Kate Phelan, who is on hand to dispense styling tips – good networking opportunity for any budding fashionistas.

Anyway, if you’re available to get to one of these events tonight, do – should be a good one! Full details can be found by clicking the link below.
